Ciel Ivoree DuFluff

I got my first Pomeranian 18 years ago.  She was an intellegent little cream colored girl named Ciel Ivoree DuFluff!  Ciel was the perfect pommie for a first time owner and adapted herself to my needs and moods.  She wasn't just a little house dog.  These pommies really don't know they are small!  I've never owned a better farm dog, and she even knew her way around cattle and horses!  She was the dog that truly "hooked" me, and made me believe that there is no other dog for me!  Ciel went to work with me daily, and we spent many hours in the veal barns.  The picture is a bit fuzzy, but it is the only one I have to show you.  There wasn't much time for pictures back then!

You Are Not Forgotten

To all those who lost their lives in the tragedy of September 11th, 2001, you are not forgotten!  You are, and will be, forever in our thoughts and prayers!
To all of those who assisted in the rescue and clean up efforts, either physically, financially, or emotionally, God bless you!  You have our heart-felt thanks and our warmest wishes!

We chose to include this picture for all of you who, like me, will never be able to see the harbour skyline, or this beautiful memorial!

Misty, My Niece And Lujak

This is our resident "couch queen", Misty.  She has been a member of our family since she was 10 weeks old, and she is 16 years young now!  She came to us from Betty's Pomeranians of Argyle, WI.
Misty is of show quality, though never shown.  All attempts at breeding have failed.  She makes a great babysitter, but she doesn't want anything to do with motherhood!
Her love of the outdoors and riding in cars and horseback, has made her the perfect companion for me.  She has been through the births and growth of my children, a divorce and most of the other tragedies and triumphs in my life.  She has never complained or criticized me once!  LOL  She is my best friend!
Even though she hearing and vision are a bit impaired, and she forgets, at times, to eat or to go outside, I still catch her chasing her tail every once in a while!  I wanted to introduce you to Misty, so that you can see that the extra effort of an elderly companion are worth the trouble (I don't see it as trouble)!Though I know that someday, she will cross the rainbow bridge, and I will feel a huge loss, for today, we walk beside each other in the sunshine, and discuss whatever parts of aging that are important for today!
